I thought NOOOOO please don’t make me sit through a whole book of Russell talking in his weird twang and obsessing over Evie and plotting how he will take her from Reed.
I loved the clever cast of characters, and Amy Bartol does wonders in bringing all their quirks and sexiness to light. I dove right in and was loving all the smoochiness between Reed and Evie. He gets better and better and better! Evie sees her equal in each person. The sound of his voice is so sad that I burst out in sobs when I hear the melancholy lilt to the beautiful language. I do need clarify Ok. Do you want a book with angels? Sometimes, I want to reach into the book and give her some brains There was, however, the small matter of Thing the Second: I would find myself skimming ahead in the pages to see if I could glimpse Reed’s name I am ashamed to admit that my heart would beat faster and my body tingled when I did see his nameeven if it was just Evie thinking about him.

He wants to own Evie but he also wants her to love him. Some parts were much better than others. But they are well controlled by their King, who loves Evie jntuition wants her for his very own. She’s still weak, IMO, ihtuition But, as expected, the repercussions of their escape are dire!
Those scenes were so sexy man! Now there is a love square and I despise love squares although this one seems to be interesting given the latest addition to the mix is some kind of faerie vampire, but now she has to worry about hurting three men instead of just two and that in itself is arduous, in addition to her becoming predictable.
They were faeries once but they were transformed into Gancanagh which is some sort of a vampire, they have fangs, drink blood and all that! Books intition Amy A.

Will she be able to escape before she becomes one of them herself? Now we have Brennus, who also wants Evie. I can already tell. In this book, the build-up is put in motion and then there is no artful “blackout” or other such mechanism.
